Hand Balancing Intermediate- free standing handstand required

This class is for students who can FREE balance a handstand AWAY FROM THE WALL.

We will practice multiple drills using the wall, yoga blocks, and spotters to gain the strength and increase your balance in multiple positions, but the majority of the class we will work on finding our balance without help. The handstand is the most important basic skill used in the theory of gymnastics and acrobatics and it is essential to any acrobat's training regime. Our handstand training program has had many influences including yoga, gymnastics, acrobatics, and circus hand balancing. In this class, we will work on drills for one arm handstand, contortion handstands, and transitions between different poses.
