Hammock Level 1 is a great class for the first time client but will also challenge a beginner to advanced beginner. In this class, you will learn how to invert in your hammock (go upside down), hip keys, and a few sequences. The class will vary in difficulty depending on who attends the class. More advanced athletes will be challenged with more difficult conditioning, correct technique on basic skills, endurance in the air, and trick sequencing.
New clients will be introduced to the fundamentals of aerial dance such as inverting, pull up strength, and safety. Each class begins with a warm up, conditioning sequences, and then skill development.
This class is meant for ages 16+. Ages 13-15 may take this class with a parent present in the studio. If your child is disruptive to the class, they may be asked to leave and explore options in our Youth Program.
